TUSCALOOSA, Ala.| It was a close one on Saturday, as the Jackson State softball team came up one run short of victory, falling to the Belmont Bruins 2-1 in conclusion to its historic 2025 campaign.
Jorgina Gant (9-8) took the loss in the circle for Jackson State (29-25). Brooklyn Morris started the ballgame and went five innings, surrendering one run on five hits, walking none and striking out one.
