GULFPORT, Miss. | The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) softball tournament at the Gulfport Sportsplex was canceled on Friday due to inclement weather throughout the day in the area.

Play will resume on Saturday at the originally scheduled times beginning with Florida A&M and Alabama State at 10:30 am, followed by the winner taking on Jackson State in the championship game at 2:30 pm. The if necessary game will push to Sunday morning.
