SUWANEE, Ga. | Maddy Beeching and Isabella Christy finished just outside the top 10 leading Jackson State in its opening tournament of the season at the 40th Thomas W. Dortch Jr. HBCU Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday.
Beeching shot a team-best 17-over (159), finishing 13th overall, one stroke ahead of teammate Isabella Christy at 18-over (160). Beeching finished the tournament with three birdies and 15 pars during the tournament, while Christy finished with a pair of birdies and 20 pars during the tournament. Jannel Calixterio finished tied for 20th at 21-over (163), while Josefina Serres-Scheffer finished just outside the top 25 with +27 (169).
