JACKSON, Miss. | Despite winning the doubles point, the Tigers fell to the University of New Orleans Privateers in their home contest on Wednesday afternoon.

Federico Pickenstainer and Jhoan Vaquero started the day off hot with a 6-1 defeat over Beltran Fernandez and Carolos Melgosa. The team of Gokalp Ayar and Fabrizio Fallas sealed the deal and gave the Tigers the doubles point after another 6-1 victory.

Vaquero also won the first set of his singles match, 6-3. Ayar and Fallas both tallied five points in their second sets as well.
