JACKSON, Miss. | Helen Hernandez led the way for the Tigers against the University of New Orleans Privateers after earning a singles win on Wednesday afternoon at home.
Hernandez defeated Danique Vermue 6-4, 6-3 at number four.
Victoria Linkovski pushed her Kate Kalistratova to three sets before falling 2-6, 6-1, 2-6.
In doubles competition,
Tiara Alvarez and
Daniela Tovar earned a 6-4 win over Ananya Dhankhar and Naila Krifa.
