JACKSON, Miss. | Despite winning the doubles point, the Tigers fell to the McNeese State Cowboys in their home contest on Saturday afternoon.

Victoria Linkovski and Helen Hernandez began the day off hot with a 6-1 defeat over Stella Rundova and Elena Morales at number one, while Tiara Alvarez and Daniela Tovar clinched doubles point with a 6-4 victory at number three.

Paula Corbalan had the best showing in singles play, but could not pull out the victory despite scoring four and three points respectively.
