HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | Jackson State received contributions from every part of their lineup, as all nine starters reached base safely, helping the Tigers put 11 runs on the board and take down the Alabama A&M Bulldogs 11-1 Saturday.
Brooklyn Morris (3-5) got the win for Jackson State. The southpaw went five innings, giving up one run on five hits, allowing three walks and striking out five.
Offensively, the Tigers were paced by Morris, who went 3-for-3 on the day with a double, a walk and two RBIs. Jace Jackson furnished a noteworthy performance at the dish as well, going 1-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs. Ka'Liyah Gipson also chipped in for Jackson State, putting together three hits in four trips to the plate while adding an RBI.

- Jackson State (11-11, 3-2 SWAC) got the scoring started early, putting two runs on the board in the top of the first inning.
- JSU's offense started clicking and put up seven runs, including a two-run double off the bat of Morris and a two-run triple from Jackson.
