Biography

Redshirt Junior Season [2024-25]: Named to All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the SWAC Championship Tournament... Scored in double figures 20 times, including a streak of 13 consecutive games from Dec. 28 [Cal Baptist] to Feb. 15 [Florida A&M]... Scored 20-plus points eight times including a career-high 37 points against Bethune-Cookman [Jan. 25]... Finished the season with one game in double-assists, finishing with a career-high 10 against Southern [Feb. 3]... Recorded one double-double on the season, coming against Southern [Feb. 3] with 23 points and 10 assists... Recorded five or more rebounds six times... Grabbed a career-high nine rebounds against Alcorn State [Feb. 22], narrowly missing a double-double... Recorded three or more steals five times, including recording four twice with the last coming against Florida A&M [Jan. 27].

Redshirt Sophomore Season [2023-23]: Sat out last season.

Before Jackson State [at Ole Miss]: Appeared in 11 games for Ole Miss in 2022-23, making two starts... Averaged 18.3 minutes, 9.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game... Scored in double figures six times... Scored 17 points with four assists in the Rebels’ win over Temple on December 17... Against Missouri on January 24, scored a season-high 18 points after connecting on four three pointers, dishing out a season-best seven assists as well... Played in a total of 14 games during his freshman season with the team, including 10 starts for the Rebels... Ended the year with the second-highest points per game total [12.6] on the team, while also averaging 25.9 minutes per game, 3.4 assists per game and 2.3 steals per game... Saw his debut for Ole Miss against New Orleans, scoring four points alongside two rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block on the night before injuring his hand and missing the next eight games... Made his presence known quickly for the Rebels after returning from his injury, scoring in the double-digits against Middle Tennessee [12], Dayton [19] and Samford [17]... Nearly earned his first career double-double against rival Mississippi State, scoring 17 along with eight assists in the team’s 82-72 victory... Earned his first collegiate start on the road at Tennessee, where he would grab a career-high five steals on the night as well as three points and three assists... Finished second on the team in total steals [32] despite having only played in 14 games on the year... Named SEC Freshman of the Week for the week of Jan. 31, 2022, putting together a three-game stretch in which he averaged 16.0 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game to become the first Rebel to receive the honor since Jarvis Summers on Dec. 5, 2011... Also saw a career-high 21-point performance in the team’s matchup with Florida during that stretch, going a near-perfect 9-of-10 from the free throw line... Grabbed a career-best seven rebounds in the Rebels Big 12-SEC Challenge victory over Kansas State, scoring 17 points as well... Despite helping lead Ole Miss to a 76-72 upset over No. 25 LSU with 19 points, three assists and two steals, ultimately saw a late-game injury to his knee require surgery and knock the freshman out for the remainder of his rookie campaign.

High School: First McDonald’s All-American signee in school history... Consensus 4-star prospect, ranked No. 40 in the country and No. 1 in the state of Mississippi... Tabbed 2021 Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year and 2021 MaxPreps Mississippi High School Basketball Player of the Year... Earned a spot in the prestigious Allen Iverson Roundball Classic... Scored 2,337 points throughout his high school career, averaging 25.4 ppg under the guidance of Ole Miss alum David Sanders... Earned all-state accolades all four years of high school...Averaged 33.1 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.0 apg and 2.8 spg as a senior... A first team all-state honoree as a junior, led Callaway to a state title by scoring 33 in the championship game at The Pavilion... Averaged 26.9 ppg and 4.9 rpg throughout his junior season, scoring at least 30 points in 11 games and was named Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year... Selected as the Hardwood Hero Player of the Year... Led Callaway to three district titles and a trio of state appearances... Averaged 25.0 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 4.2 apg and 2.1 spg as a sophomore... Made an immediate impact his freshman year, scoring 19.8 ppg to go along with 4.0 apg and 3.7 rpg.
