Box Score JACKSON – The Jackson State women's basketball team eclipsed the 100-point mark as the Lady Tigers defeated Spring Hill College 105-57 Tuesday evening in a non-conference game at the Lee E. Williams Athletic and Assembly Center.
JSU improved to 2-5 overall, while SHC fell to 4-6.
Six student-athletes scored in double digits.
"The energy, intensity, and defense was there for us tonight," said sophomore guard
J'Niya Tallie. "We played together as a team and in an unselfish manner."
Senior guard Christiana Ellis scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed five rebounds. The San Diego native also added five steals and handed out four assists.

Antionette Womack dropped 12 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field.

Marneisha Hamer and
Sumer Williams, and senior
Jasmine Redmon each scored 10 points.
The Lady Tigers shot exceptionally well and connected on 57.9 percent (44-of-76) of their shots, including 50 percent from the 3-point line.
JSU hosts Millsaps College, Saturday at 3 p.m. at the AAC.
