JACKSON – Jackson State shot 57 percent from the field and dominated Texas Southern 73-64 in Southwestern Athletic Conference action Monday evening at the Lee E. Williams Athletic and Assembly Center.
JSU improved to 11-13 and 7-6 in the SWAC, while TSU falls to 10-13 and 6-6 in the conference.

Marneisha Hamer dropped a team-high 20 points and grabbed five board and handed out three assists.
Christina Ellis delivered another great performance and scored 19 points. The San Diego native also hauled in four rebounds and dished out three assists.

Kaisah Lucky added 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds and handed out nine assists.
The Blue and White won the battle in the paint with 32 in the paint and 31 rebounds.
The JSU bench also came in with 34 points.
The Lady Tigers return to action Saturday and play host to Grambling at 3 p.m. at the AAC.
