JACKSON – UW-Milwaukee defeated Jackson State 3-1 and 2-0 to complete a three-game series at Braddy Field.

The game started Saturday evening but was postponed in the bottom of the third inning due to heavy rain.
Jaylyn Williams delivered in the bottom half of the second inning with a solo home run, his second of the season, to left field.

Tyler Jones and
Marshal Luiz each picked up hits.
Smith and Reyes each added a stolen base.
Joshua Swartz absorbed the loss. The 6-foot-1, 230-pounder tossed three innings and scattered three hits, allowed three runs and four walks and fanned seven batters.
Game 2 UW-Milwaukee 2, Jackson State 0
Francisco Urena tossed a strong six innings and allowed four hits, two runs (one earned) and three walks while striking out four batters.
Raul Hernandez batted 2-for-4 and
Chris Prentiss went 2-for-3 with a triple and one walk.
Smith and Chumley each picked up a hit.
JSU (2-5) returns to action Tuesday at Mississippi State. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
