Track and Field in the Latest USTFCCCA National Track and Field Ranking Index

JACKSON, Miss. - The Jackson State track and field team sits at No. 14 overall in the South Region and No. 78 overall in the country in the latest National Track and Field Rating Index.

The rating uses national qualifiers and their times and marks to project where teams would finish in the national championship.

In the South region, the Tigers are ranked up against the likes of Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami (Fla.), Southern Miss., etc. in a tough and competitive South Region.

Christian McNair-Jones currently ranks third overall nationally, in the men's 60 meter hurdles, with a time of 7.98 back on January 15.
