Box Score JACKSON, Miss. – The Jackson State baseball team pounded out 20 hits enroute to a 16-6 win over Tougaloo Wednesday afternoon from Braddy Field.
JSU (7-5) jumped on TC (2-6) early behind a seven-run first frame and led 14-1 after seven innings.
Ty Hill, who batted ninth, had the standout performance. Hill batted 4-for-6 with four RBI and scored a run.
Chandler Dillard, the Tigers' leadoff batter finished 3-for-5 with an RBI and scored a run.
Luis Ruiz went 3-for-4 with three RBI and scored three times.
Jatavious Melton and
Devontae Rhodes each picked up a pair of hits.
Harry Colon started on the bump and earned the win. Colon tossed four scoreless innings and scattered three hits and walked one batter while fanning three.

Brandon Valentin,
Austin Campbell,
Ryan Jackson, and
Juan Marulanda each pitched an inning to close out the win.
The Tigers return to SWAC play this weekend at Alcorn.
