LORMAN, Miss. - The Jackson State Lady Tigers improved to a perfect 8-0 on the season with a 3-0 sweep on Alcorn State on Sunday afternoon.
Jackson State handed the Lady Braves a 25-21 first set loss before taking sets two and three, 25-11, 25-17, respectively.
The Lady Tigers were led by
Alexis Williams who had 13 kills in the contest.
Jylen Whitten had eight kills ans 10 digs for the night. Williams put together three blocks.
Damassy Thompson led JSU with 16 assists and 11 digs, while
DeKyra Dennis had finished with a second best 10 assists.
The Lady Tigers improved to 8-0 on the season with the win. JSU returns to the court next Monday, March 22, for the final regular season game of the seaon.
