Game 1: USM 5, JSU 3
In game one, JSU jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning when Mari Stephens scored following a

In the bottom of the sixth,
Lauren Stewart reached base on a fielder's choice and later scored when
Isis Taylor singled up the middle to narrow USM's lead to 4-2.
USM added a run in the top of the seventh inning to go back up 5-2 before the Lady Tigers added a final run in the bottom of the inning.
The Lady Tigers' top guns in the game were Stephens, who went 3-for-4 with a run scored, and Taylor, who went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Game 2: USM 11, JSU 0
The second game saw the Golden Eagles score three runs in the top of the first inning before adding four in the second, one in the third and three in the fourth.
