DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Jackson State University softball team lost the series opener at Bethune-Cookman 5-0 Friday at Sunnyland Park.

Alexis Arredondo, Isabel Gusman, Monica Serrano, and Samiyyah Huckabee each had hits for JSU in the contest.
