Jackson State University student-athletes once again did work in the classroom, as 160+ student-athletes were named to the Southwestern Athletic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

The SWAC Commissioner's Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2021-22 academic year. A total of 162 JSU student-athletes earned academic conference accolades.

"Throughout my career, I've always believed that classroom success is the foundation for competition success," said Jackson State University Vice President / Director of Athletics Ashley Robinson. "It is no coincidence that our academic accomplishments were the blueprint for our most successful athletics season in more than a decade as evidenced by our second-place finish in the SWAC Commissioner's Cup standings. We salute and congratulate these student-athletes for Building On Tradition and setting the bar for future athletes to Blaze New Trails."
