HAMMOND, La.| The Tigers suffered a tough road loss to Southeastern Louisiana on Tuesday afternoon at the University Center. JSU fell in three, 25-19, 25-23 and 25-17.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Southeastern (4-0) opened the match leading the Tigers 10-6
-Jackson State (1-3) climbed back into the game tying the score at 11
-The Tigers fought for the advantage, but the Lions pulled away a took the first set, 25-19 Â
-JSU got on the board first in set two as
Makenzie Washington recorded a kill
-The Tigers jumped ahead, 4-0, to open
-Southeastern tied the set at six off of a JSU attack error
-Jackson State reclaimed the lead, 19-17 with a kill from
Jordan Jones

Alexis Williams recorded a kill for the Tigers as they continued to lead, 20-18
-Southeastern tied the set at 20 with a service ace and took the 21-20 lead with the next point
-The Lions barely topped the Tigers with a 25-23 second set victory
-SELU kicked the third set open taking a 16-8 lead over JSU
-The Tigers closed the deficit to three, 20-17, but never scored again as Southeastern sealed the 3-0 victory, 25-17
