MONROE, La.| The Jackson State University women's soccer team fell to the University of Louisiana at Monroe Friday evening, 4-0, in its first road game of the season at Brown Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Jackson State (1-4) took the first shot of the game 3:27 in as Jordan Smith took her chance
-Louisiana-Monroe (3-0) scored its first goal at 5:46 by Kedie Johnson
-Jordan Smith took another shot at the 16:19 mark that went out right
-Tigers' goalie, Tionna Taylor, recorded a save as ULM's Lena Goppel shot on target
-Annalise Brunson took her first shot of the game at the 34:11 mark closing out JSU's first half action
-ULM scored again at the 68:29 mark as Eve Blakey increased the Warhawks lead to 2-0
-ULM scored its third goal at the 71:49 mark as JSU remained scoreless in the second half
-Maya-Joy Thompson shot for the Tigers at 83:55
-Jordan Smith gave JSU one last chance taking a shot at the 89:12 mark, but Mickaela Leal recorded the save for ULM

The Tigers head to Thibodeaux, La. for a Sunday afternoon matchup with the Colonels at the Thibodeaux Regional Sports Complex. Kickoff is set for noon.
