LORMAN, -- Jackson State got goals from Maya-Joy Thompson and Sage Magruder in a 2-0 shutout victory against Alcorn Friday (Sept. 30) on the road at Jack Spinks – Marino Casem Stadium.
Jackson State improved to 3-6-1 overall and 2-0-1 in SWAC action with the win.

The Lady Tigers tacked on another score on a goal from Magruder -- her second goal of the season -- in the 60th minute, assisted by Alexes Sanchez and Ayanna Pinder. The goal finished off the scoring in the match.
