ITTA BENA, MS --The Jackson State volleyball team recorded a .446 hitting percentage on the way to a 3-0 victory (25-12, 25-8, 25-15) over the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devilettes Friday on the road at Harrison HPER Complex.
The victory improved the Lady Tigers' record to 3-11 overall and 2-1 in SWAC action.
Alexis Williams finished with 11 kills on the day to lead the Lady Tigers attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .556. got 10 digs from Karys Dove to lead them defensively.

SET 2 | After their win in the first set, Jackson State put themselves on the cusp of a sweep with a 25-8 victory in set number two. The Lady Tigers took a 1-0 lead and never looked back in the set to secure the victory. Jackson State opened up as much as an 18 point lead at 20-2 before closing out the set. The Lady Tigers hit .478 over the course of the set. The Jackson State offense also got a boost from three aces in the stanza.
SET 3 | Jackson State took the third set to sweep the match. The Lady Tigers scored first and never trailed in the set to earn a 25-15 victory. Jackson State ended on a high note, claiming its biggest lead, 10 points, to finish off the set, totaling 18 kills in the process.
