HUNTSVILLE, Ala.| The Jackson State soccer team snuck by in a 2-1 win over Alabama A&M Sunday afternoon on the road at AAMU Soccer Field.
The victory boosted Jackson St.'s record to 5-7-0 overall and 4-0-0 in SWAC play.
How it Happened
Jackson State opened the scoring when Kendyl Terrell recorded her fourth goal of the season in the 27th minute.
Alabama A&M evened the match on a goal from in the 46th minute.
The Tigers went ahead 2-1 on Maya-Joy Thompson's 67th-minute goal, her third of the season. The score closed the 2-1 game.
