Tigers Close Out Bulldog Relays

STARKVILLE, Ms. - The Jackson State track and field program broke two personal bests on the final day of the Bulldog Relays. 

Erykah Garrett set a new personal best in the 100 meter hurdles. Garrett placed second with a time of 14.06 seconds. In the 110 meter hurdles, Ivan Donaldson set a new personal best with a time of 14.57 seconds.

Sedgwick Pitts Jr. finished in second place with a time of 10.40 seconds in the 100-meter dash. 

Jallah Galimah finished fourth place at 4.01.13 seconds in the 1500-meter run. 

In the men's 4x100 meter relay, finished fourth place with a time of 40.46 seconds. The relay consisted of: Segwrick Pitts Jr., Shawn Collins, Caleb Jolivette, and Jyquan Jackson

In the field events, Lillian Dudley placed third in the women's shot put with a mark of 14.99 meters. Johnny Howell set a personal best with a 15.47 meters in men's shot put. 

In the men's and women's long jump, Tevin Thompson placed third with a leap of 7.20 meters and Candace Mongo placed sixth with a jump of 5.50 meters. 
The Tigers and Lady Tigers will be heading to Austin, TX for the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on March 31st and April 1st.
