The Jackson State baseball returns to action Wednesday night hosting Tougaloo at 6 p.m. at Braddy Field.

Jackson State looks to get back on track in the final game of a seven-game homestand. JSU has lost back-to-back series to open Southwestern Athletic Conference play against Alabama A&M and Alabama State, and will return to league play this weekend at Mississippi Valley State.
This is the third meeting of the season between the Tigers (13-8 overall, 1-5 SWAC) and Tougaloo (4-21, 1-5 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference). Jackson State won both games of a March 1 doubleheader at home by scores of 17-10 and 21-8.
INF Ty Hill ranks third in the SWAC in batting average (.419), is first in on-base plus slugging% (1.281), second in on-base% (.551), and is third in slugging% (.730). Hill is also tied for 10th in hits (31), tied for first in doubles (10), tied for fifth in triples (two), has tied a career-high in home runs, is tied for ninth in runs scored (24), and is tied for 11th in RBI. Hill batted .455 (5-11) in last weekend's series against Alabama St.
Tougaloo is coming off a conference weekend series loss to Dillard at home.
