JACKSON, Miss.| After taking a 1-0 lead in the first half, the Jackson State soccer team couldn't keep its momentum pumping as McNeese State scored two goals in the second half to take the 2-1 win over JSU Saturday afternoon at the JSU Soccer Field.

Kendyl Terrell darted down field to score the Tigers goal and give them the 1-0 advantage at the 32:56 mark in the first half.

How It Happened
McNeese State's (3-4-1) Dom Ducal shot first in the match as
Jordan Hamilton registered her first save of the game.
Jackson State's (1-6) first shot in the match came from
Olivia Cobb as she took her chance on the goal 20:21 into the match forcing McNeese State's Morgan Schooley to register the save. Roughly 12 minutes later Terrell put JSU on the board first for the 1-0 advantage. JSU held McNeese State scoreless heading into halftime.

Terrell took the first shot in the second half at 46:48 but was unlucky in her attempt that was out top. At the 57:50 mark Morgan Fielder evened the score at one for McNeese State. About five minutes later Fielder took a penalty kick for the Cowgirls and scored again taking the 2-1 lead at 61:30.

Ayanna Pinder shot from just outside the left end of the box but Jackie Kelly came up with the save for McNeese State. The Tigers weren't able to do much more before time expired.
