JACKSON, Miss.| Jayden James and Alexis Williams each put up double-doubles to help propel the Jackson State volleyball team to a 3-1 win (25-14, 25-23, 23-25, 28-26) over Grambling State Sunday at home.
The victory boosted JSU's record to 9-9 overall and 5-2 in SWAC action.
Jackson State was led by double-doubles from Williams, who had 11 kills and 13 digs, and James, who had 28 kills and 24 digs. Kyra Dove added nine kills to help the offense. On the defensive end, Naija Gadis chipped in for with 17 digs to go with four blocks from Jordan Jones.

- Grambling State stayed alive with a third-set win to make it a 2-1 match.
