Tigers Sweep Mississippi Valley State on the Road

ITTA BENA, Mss.| The Jackson State volleyball team needed just three sets (25-15, 25-22, 25-17) to take down the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devilettes Thursday evening on the road at Harrison HPER Complex.

The victory boosted the Tigers' record to 11-9 overall and 7-2 in SWAC action.

Jayden James finished with 16 kills on the day to lead JSU's attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .577. The Tigers also got seven digs from Kymorah Carter to lead them defensively.
