LORMAN, Miss.| The Jackson State volleyball team needed just three sets (25-9, 25-13, 25-21) to secure the win over Alcorn State Sunday afternoon on the road at Davey L. Whitney Complex.
The victory boosted the Tigers' record to 12-9 overall and 8-2 in SWAC action.
Jayden James finished with 10 kills on the day to lead the Tigers attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .563.James also pitched in with six in the contest. JSU got 7 digs from James to lead them defensively.
