JACKSON, Miss.| The Jackson State volleyball team cruised to a three-set victory (25-16, 25-19, 25-20) over the Texas Southern Tigers Monday at home at Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center.
The conference victory improved Jackson State's record to 7-8 overall and 3-1 in SWAC play.
The Tigers were led by a double-double from Jayden James, who registered 11 kills and 15 digs on the day. Alexis Williams also added nine kills to help the attack. On the defensive end, Trinity Bryant chipped in for with 16 digs to go with three blocks from Kyra Dove.
