GRAMBLING, La.| Jayden James and Alexis Williams each recorded double-doubles to help power Jackson State to a 3-1 win (25-13, 21-25, 25-21, 25-19) over Prairie View A&M Panthers Saturday afternoon to advance to Sunday's SWAC Championship match at Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.
The Tigers were led by the double-doubles from Williams, who had 11 kills and 10 digs, and James, who had 17 kills and 12 digs. Kyra Dove added nine kills to help the attack. On the defensive end, Trinity Bryant chipped in for with 24 digs to go with five blocks from Jordan Jones. Naija Gadis nothced her 1,000th career assist in the match.
