JACKSON, Miss. -- Joseph Eichelberger went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for the Jackson State Tigers in a 7-3 loss to the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils on Sunday afternoon at Braddy Field.
Eichelberger led the way offensively for the Tigers, going 2-for-4 in the ballgame with a double and an RBI. Myles White furnished a standout performance at the plate as well, going 1-for-4 with a triple. Rodney Hibler also chipped in, going 2-for-4 for Jackson State.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 7-0, the Tigers first put runs on the board in the eighth inning. Eichelberger's run-scoring single was the big hit in Jackson State's three-run inning. The Tigers were unable to get any closer, as neither team scored again in the game.
