GAME 1 | Jackson State 5, Rust 4
JACKSON, Miss. -- The Jackson State Tigers fought back from down 4-2 in the fifth inning to take down the Rust Bearcats 5-4 Tuesday evening at Bob Braddy Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Trailing 3-0, the Tigers first put runs on the board in the first inning. Jackson State got an RBI single from Hibler, scoring McCladdie from third base.

Jackson State held the Bearcats off the board before rallying to grab a 5-4 lead in the sixth. The Tigers put together a three-run frame, culminating in a run-scoring single off the bat of Montesano. The score remained 5-4 for the rest of the game as Jackson State held on for the win.
