BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced its all-conference teams on Monday morning with
Catalina Tovar and
MacKenzie Conway representing Jackson State.
Tovar was selected to the first team after her stellar performance in both SWAC Roundups. She placed third in the conference in combined average across 27 games played with a 194.33. This selection, the first of her collegiate career, caps off a phenomenal regular season so far where she has earned multiple all-tournament teams and was named SWAC bowler of the week as well.
Conway earned her second team all-conference selection in her first season with the Tigers. The Diamondhead, Ms., native placed eighth in the conference with a combined average of 186.82 in 28 games. She was named SWAC Newcomer of the Week twice during the regular season and has shined throughout her freshman campaign.
