BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | MacKenzie Conway earned Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Newcomer of the Week for her performance at the SWAC East Roundup this past weekend, announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.

Conway, who has earned the honor for the third time this season, finished the weekend with an average of 184.96 knocking down 2,588 total pins in 14 matches. Her performance led the Tigers to third place in the tournament as well. She was also named to the All-SWAC second team this week. The Diamondhead, Ms. native has had quite the impressive showing in her freshman campaign with the Tigers.
