BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Jackson State track and field team put together three top-finishes on Friday in the UAB Vulcan Invitational. Jackson native
Mylani Galbreath led the way for the Tigers after taking first place in the long jump.
Galbreath recorded a distance of 5.69 meters for her first first place finish since last year's SWAC Outdoor Championships.
In the field events,
Lilliann "Tre" Dudley secured a third place finish in the shot put, recording a heave of 14.09 meters.
On the men's side,
Sedgwrick Pitts Jr. earned a fourth place finish in the 200 meter dash with a 21.85.

The Tigers will have a quick turnaround as they return to the CrossPlex to compete in the Green and Gold Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 8.
