NEW ORLEANS, La. | Jackson State dropped a non-conference road game to Tulane 16-6 at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium on Wednesday night.
Jackson State (11-4) was held to six hits by five Tulane pitchers and were led by Joseph Eichelberger at the plate finishing 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and a pair of RBI. Wilbert Perez finished 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI, and Davione Hull went 2-for-4 with a run scored.
Brandon Haston (1-2), the first of six pitchers used on the night by Jackson State, suffered the loss in the start working 2.0 innings and allowing six runs on six hits with a pair of strikouts.

- 4th inning - Haas doubled down the rf line, RBI (1-2 SBK); Lombardi scored, Tulane 7-1.
- 5th inning - Joseph Eichelberger singled to center field, 2 RBI (1-2 KBK); Ledy Alvarez advanced to third; Nazhir Bergen scored; Davione Hull scored. Perez, singled to third base, RBI (0-1 K); Eichelberger advanced to third, scored on a throwing error by 3b, unearned; Alvarez scored, Tulane 7-5.
