JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State's women's tennis team won their final regular season match against Dillard University in a 6-1 decision Saturday afternoon. 

The Tigers started their season finale off hot by winning the doubles point. Kayleigh Didderiens and Isabella Benavides won their match with a 6-0 decision. Paula Corbalan and senior Zeina Shaaban claimed their 10th victory as a duo in a 6-2 decision on court one. 

Jackson State built on their strong doubles performance with five wins in singles competition. Shaaban defeated her opponent in a 6-2, 6-4 decision to complete a two-win day in her final match at home. Fellow senior Chiara Desia recorded her 12th singles win of the season on court six with a 6-1, 6-1 score. 

Didderiens also recorded a two-win day with a 6-0, 6-1 score at number three, while Benavides claimed her 6-3, 6-3 victory at number four. Zofia Dziewiecka finished the day for the Tigers with the final win as she pulled out a three-set thriller in a 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 decision.
