JACKSON, Miss. | The Tigers fell to the Alabama A&M Bulldogs in a close 4-3 decision at home on Tuesday afternoon.
Jackson State (5-10, 3-2 SWAC) overcame a tough start to the day after losing the doubles point as they put together three wins in singles competition and extended all but one into three sets.
Freshman
Maas Schotanus started the Tigers off by claiming a 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 victory at number three.
Jhoan Vaquero won his match in a 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 decision at number five, while
Gokalp Ayar won his at number six with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 decision.
