MEMPHIS, Tenn. | Amara Hawkins-Quinones, Ledamian Rowell, and both men and women 4x400 relay team all earned first-place finishes over the weekend at the Memphis Tiger Invitational, where the Tigers earned 17 top-five finishes in total.
Hawkins-Quinones claimed first place in the 800-meter race at 2:15.35. She earned another first-place finish as part of the women's 4x400 team alongside Callie Calicut, Artajia Richardson, and Jiya Clayton, clocking in at 3:49.46.
Ledamian Rowell continued his dominant outdoor season with another first-place finish in the triple jump after leaping 15.45 meters. Also on the men's side, the 4x400 relay team of Ivan Donaldson Jr., Jaden Dix, Fabian Campbell, and Tyjah Edwards took first place at 3:18.29.
Callie Calicut (400-meter hurdles), Godfrey Kimutai (5000-meter run), Lilliann Dudley (shot put), Sedgwrick Pitts Jr. (200-meter dash), Dominic Turner (800-meter run), and Javon Gray (triple jump) all earned top-three finishes in their respective events.
