BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Ivan Donaldson Jr., Lilliann Dudley, and Ledamian Rowell were named weekly award winners by the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) office on Thursday afternoon for their performances last weekend at the Memphis Tiger Invitational.
Donaldson claimed his first weekly award of the season after being named Men's Track Athlete of the Week. He recorded two top-three finishes, winning first place as part of the 4x4 relay team and placing third in the 110-meter hurdles with respective times of 3:18.29 and 14.30.
Dudley was named Women's Field Athlete of the Week after placing second in shot put with a heave of 14.46 meters and seventh in hammer throw with a distance of 49.42 meters.
Rowell earned Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors for his first-place finish in the triple jump after leaping 15.45 meters.
