MILLER HAS ONE OF NATION'S-BEST PERFORMANCES IN WEEK ONE
Ahmad Miller

He is even with Joshua Dye of Southern Utah, while Eastern Illinois quarterback Cole LaCrue rushed for nation's best 193 yards. In his first season at ULM, he recorded four tackles with 0.5 tackle for loss and 0.5 sacks.

RED ZONE SUCCESS
Jackson State continued their success in the red zone from last season, scoring on all three opportunities in the season opener against Hampton. Last season, the Tigers finished second in the nation scoring 96.3 percent of the time - just behind Montana State at 97 percent.

WILLIAMS AND VARNER SIT OUT SEASON OPENER
Preseason All-American Jeremiah Williams and transfer Kanye Varner both sat out the season opener against Hampton, and are expected to return this week against Southern Miss.
