TROY, Ala.| Jackson State showed flashes of strong play but ultimately fell in straight sets to Troy, 3–0 (15–25, 23–25, 16–25), Saturday afternoon inside Trojan Arena.

Jackson State (0–5) battled closely in the second set with five ties and two lead changes, but Troy's consistency at the net and from the service line carried them to the sweep.

• Hope Briggs led JSU with eight kills, three blocks, and 9.5 total points.
• Kyra Dove was efficient with six kills on .500 hitting and four blocks.
• Jayden James added six kills, two aces, and three digs.
• Kamiera Watkins chipped in six block assists and two service aces.
• Karys Dove and Naija Gadis shared setting duties, combining for 23 assists.
• Amiah Butler paced the Trojans with 12 kills on .417 hitting and added 13.5 points.
• Sydney Austin recorded five kills, four blocks, and four service aces for 11 points.
