Tigers come up short to LSU in season opener

BATON ROUGE, La. | Jackson State men's tennis fell to the LSU Tigers in their season opener on Sunday afternoon.

Junior Ching Chang Chiu had the best performance for the Tigers in singles competition against LSU's Matios Ponce De Leon, scoring two points in both sets before falling 6-2, 6-2. Federico Pickenstainer and Jhoan Vaquero also scored two points against their respective competition.

Despite losing the doubles point, the teams of Pickenstainer and Vaquero, as well as Chiu and Hung-Yu Chen, both scored two points for Jackson State in their matches together.
