JACKSON, Miss. | The Jackson State track and field program and head coach Mark Thorne released its 2026 indoor schedule on Monday morning.

The Tigers kick off indoor season on Jan. 9 for the UAB Blazer Invitational, the first of five meets at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala. They will also compete in the UAB Vulcan Invitational on the following day. On Jan.16 and 17, the Tigers compete in the Samford Invite and the Samford Open, respectively.

Marking the midpoint of the indoor season, the Tigers return to Birmingham for the UAB Green and Gold Invitational on Feb. 6 and the UAB Invite on Feb. 7. They wrap up the regular season with back-to-back meets in Birmingham at Samford's Bulldog Invitational and Bulldog Open on Feb. 13 and 14. The indoor season culminates at the South Western Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championships on Feb. 21-22, where the men placed in the top three last year.

The NCAA Indoor Championships will be held on March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Ark.
