BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Jackson State track and field returned to action on Friday afternoon as the Tigers competed in the UAB Green and Gold Invite at the Birmingham Crossplex. Four top-three finishes and five personal bests highlighted the Tigers' performances.
Ronald Huddleston placed second in the 60m dash with a time of 6.87, while
Fabian Campbell earned a second-place finish in the 800m race in 1:54.30.
Kaiden Berry and
Robert Salhab both placed second in their respective field events. Berry threw for 16.54m in the shot put, and Salhab threw for 17.74m in the weight throw.

Korbin Lewis (pole vault),
Lorine Jelagat (1 mile),
Collins Kibet (1 mile),
Kayla Williams (60m hurdles),
Rickey Green III (60m hurdles), and
Sedgwrick Pitts Jr. (60m dash) all recorded new personal bests on the day. '
