BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Six personal bests highlighted the Jackson State track and field team's performance at Saturday's UAB Invite, including a pair of top-three finishes.
Nedgine Morancy earned a second-place finish in the women's triple jump after leaping for a distance of 11.65m, while
Sedgwrick Pitts Jr. ran for a time of 21.32 in the 200m dash to place in third.
Karina Griffin (400m race),
Collins Kibet (3k),
Lorine Jelagat (3k),
Joan Koech (3k),
Malayna Mallory (weight throw), and
Godfrey Kimutai (1 mile) all recorded new personal bests today.
