Jackson State Falls to Nicholls in Midweek Matchup

JACKSON, Miss.| The Jackson State softball team was not able to notch a run against Nicholls pitcher Sierra Ouellette on Wednesday and were shut out 10-0 by the Colonels at home.

Jayden Rutledge (0-1) started and took the loss in the circle for Jackson State.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Jackson State (9-11) did not advance a runner past second base in the game.
  • The Tigers went 0-for-1 with runners in scoring position, last placing a runner as far as second in the fifth, when Jhordan Dyer made it into scoring position with two outs.
