DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. | Jackson State dropped game two of its Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) series, 13-2 to Bethune-Cookman at the Jackie Robinson Ballpark on Saturday afternon.
Jackson State (13-15, 4-4 SWAC) picked up eight hits with a pair of players picking up two hits including Robert Tate Jr. who finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a sacrifice hit. Meanwhile, Tyree Reed finished 2-for-4, while Wilbert Perez walked twice and scored a run. Derek Arrocha (1-3) suffered the loss working 5.0 innings in the start and allowing eight runs (seven earned) on 10 hits with three strikeouts.
