NEW ORLEANS, La. | Jackson State feel to New Orleans 11-6 in non-conference action on Tuesday in the first of the eight games on the road for the Tigers.

Jackson State (7-7) collected 10 hits on the day, with Tyree Reed finishing 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, while Diego Melendez and Edwin Lemus Hudson Jr. each picked up a pair of RBI in the loss. Kevin De La Santos (0-1) suffered the loss, working 0.2 innings out of the bullpen allowing four runs on four hits. Kade Walker got the start, working 2.0 innings and allowed one hit, while Manuel Toro and Joe Williams combined for 3.0 innings of scoreless relief out of the bullpen.
