BIRMINGHAM, Ala.| Jace Jackson, Ka'Liyah Gipson and Jorgina Gant all earn Southewestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Softball Postseason Awards. Jackson was tabbed All-SWAC First Team (3B), while Gipson (OF) and Gant (P) were named All-SWAC Second Team.

Jace Jackson has consistently been one of the most dominant hitters in the SWAC, combining elite batting average, power, and plate discipline to anchor Jackson State's offense and consistently produce runs at a high level. She played a critical part for a JSU team that is ranked 38th nationally in batting average and 31 st in on-base percentage. In 44 games, she led the Tigers in 63 hits (3rd in SWAC), recorded 41 RBIs (7th in SWAC), and finished the season with a .444 batting average (5th in the conference, 57th nationally). She finished the season with a .517 on-base percentage (6th in SWAC, 82 nd nationally) while scoring 41 runs (8 th in SWAC). An offensive engine of Jackson State's lineup, Jackson is ranked 22 nd in the nation in terms of being the toughest to strike out.

Jackson started in 44 games for the Tigers this season. Defensively, she concluded the season with 27 putouts at the third base position, 81 assists (9th in SWAC) and an .897 field percentage. Jackson's season highs include registering five hits and eight assists on the road at AAMU and four RBIs versus B-CU.

She rounds out her career with 323 total bases, 217 hits, 164 putouts, 157 RBIs, 39 doubles, 14 triples, and 13 home runs and a .384 batting average, a .455 on-base percentage, a .572 slugging percentage, .909 fielding percentage in 188 games for the Tigers.

The reigning national leader in stolen bases continues to prove herself as one of the nation's most disruptive baserunners, leading the NCAA in stolen bases per game. An elite leadoff hitter and one of the most dangerous base-stealers in the SWAC, Ka'Liyah Gipson ranks 5th nationally in stolen bases (1st in SWAC) and 19 th in stolen base percentage (.895%). While combining a high-average contact hitting with disruptive speed to drive Jackson State's offensive flow, Gipson registered a .425 batting average, 48 hits, 33 runs, 12 RBIs, and 36 stolen bases (38 attempts).

In SWAC play, she continued her high-level production, batting .389 with a .476 on-base percentage and scoring 24 runs, proving her ability to perform in key conference matchups. Gipson played a critical role in JSU's offense that is ranked 38 th nationally in batting average and 31 st in on-base percentage. Nearly every game she competed in this season, she put the ball in play and pressure on the opponent's defense as the Tigers leadoff hitter.

Defensively, she recorded 51 putouts in the outfield, finishing with a .964 fielding percentage.

Jorgina Gant anchored Jackson State's pitching staff during the 2026 season, delivering a dominant and consistent presence in the circle while emerging as the team's clear ace. She compiled a 10–5 overall record (7 th in SWAC) with an impressive 3.06 ERA (6 th in SWAC) across 103.0 innings pitched, leading the team in wins, innings, complete games, and strikeouts (69). Gant demonstrated exceptional durability and control, recording 10 complete games and three shutouts while limiting opposing hitters to a .254 batting average. Her ability to command the game and work deep into outings provided stability for the Tigers throughout the season. Gant, the fifth-ranked pitcher in the conference, ranks nationally in complete games (75 th and 4 th in SWAC) and 71 st in shutouts. She ranked 2nd in striking out batters looking while consistently put JSU in position to win. She ranks in most major statistical category in the conference

Gant elevated her performance in conference play, posting a 7–1 record with a 2.38 ERA and holding opponents to a .242 batting average across 56.0 innings, underscoring her effectiveness in critical SWAC matchups. She consistently delivered in high-leverage situations, combining efficient run prevention with the ability to control tempo and minimize scoring opportunities. Gant's leadership, workload, and consistent production in the circle made her one of the top pitchers in the conference and a driving force behind Jackson State's success.
